ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: Plea in Allahabad High Court against price disparities in tickets for matches in Lucknow

The petitioner has raised a grievance that while the base price for 4 out of 5 matches in Lucknow is set at ₹499, the base price for the India versus England match scheduled on October 29 is set at ₹3,250.

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Allahabad High Court, challenging disparities noticed in the prices of tickets for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 matches scheduled at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
