The Kerala High Court on Tuesday upheld the the amended provisions of the Kerala University Act which clubbed the posts of Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors of all departments to create separate cadres for the purpose of applying communal reservation principles (State of Kerala v. Dr G Radhakrishna Pillai).
