PG Manu, a Senior Government Pleader (GP) in Kerala who represents the State government before the Kerala High Court, has resigned following allegations of raping a woman..According to a report by 24 News, the office of the Advocate General demanded Manu's resignation after allegations against him surfaced. As per the report, the Chottanikkarara police registered a first information report (FIR) against Manu for rape and offences punishable under the Information Technology Act (IT Act).The report stated that the FIR was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by a resident of Ernakulam resident. She alleged that Manu called her to his office and raped her.
