

The NCLT & NCLAT Bar Association will hold a commemorative event in New Delhi on June 1 to mark ten years of the establishment of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
The Association said the event is being organised to celebrate the contribution of the NCLT and NCLAT to the development of corporate adjudication and insolvency jurisprudence in India.
Supreme Court judge Justice Pankaj Mithal, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, former Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, NCLAT Chairperson Justice Ashok Bhushan, former Supreme Court judge Justice Rajesh Bindal and NCLT President Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal are expected to attend and address the gathering.
The event is being organised under the leadership of NCLT & NCLAT Bar Association President and Senior Advocate Virender Ganda.
Advocates Rakesh Kumar, Vipul Ganda and Zorawar Singh have curated the event. The organising committee comprises advocates Arvind Kumar Gupta, Rakesh Kumar, Purti Gupta, Niraj Preet Singh Chawla, Vipul Ganda, Zorawar Singh, SP Singh and Vishal Ganda.
The NCLT & NCLAT Bar Association is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It represents advocates, company secretaries, chartered accountants and cost accountants practising before the NCLT and NCLAT.
The NCLT and NCLAT were established in 2016 and have since become key forums for company law disputes, insolvency resolution, merger approvals and corporate restructuring matters.
The Association has invited members of the legal fraternity and other stakeholders to attend the event.
