Advocate Sunil Fernandes has resigned from the office of Additional Advocate General (AAG) for the State of Madhya Pradesh in the Supreme Court of India. .In his letter written to the Law Department, Governemnt of Madhya Pradesh, Fernandes has stated, "Please accept on resignation, with immediate effect, as the Additional Advocate General (AAG) for the State of Madhya Pradesh in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India at New Delhi. I take this opportunity to thank to LAw Department, all other departments and officers of the State Government, for their prompt assistance and co-operation, which enabled the undersigned, to effectively discharge his duties before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.".[Breaking] Madhya Pradesh Political Crisis: Supreme Court directs Floor Test to be held on March 20.On a side note, in the case relating to the political crisis in Madhya Pradesh, the Supreme Court had yesterday directed for a floor test to be conducted at the state legislative assembly today by 5PM.Following the order, Congress Leader Kamal Nath today resigned from the office of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
