Air Asia FIPB clearance: Delhi High Court allows Subramanian Swamy to file application to make Air India party to case

The development came about after Swamy told the Court that Air India has now decided to acquire Air Asia contrary to it previous statements, and this makes it a necessary party to the petition.

The Delhi High Court has allowed BJP leader Subramanian Swamy to file an application for impleading Air India as a party to the case challenging Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance to AirAsia (India) Pvt. Limited [Dr Subramanian Swamy v Union of India and Ors].
