Munmun Dhamecha, one of the accused in the cruise ship drug case, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking modification and relaxation of certain conditions imposed by the High Court while granting bail to her in the cruise ship drug case, where Aryan Khan, son of Shahrukh Khan is prime accused. .Justice Nitin Sambre had granted bail to Dhamecha, main accused Aryan Khan and co-accused Arbaaz Merchant on October 28, 2021. On October 29, the High Court had released a 5-page order listing out the conditions for grant of bail..Dhamecha in her plea has challenged the following two conditions imposed on the accused:Attend office of Narcotics Control Bureau Mumbai office every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm to mark their presence; Not to leave Greater Mumbai without informing the investigating officer (IO) and to give itinerary of travel to IO. .In the plea filed through advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, Dhamecha apprised the Court that her place of residence was outside Mumbai.A resident of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh (MP), Dhamecha had moved to Delhi for work commitments and future prospects. .She contended that if the conditions have to be judiciously followed, then Dhamecha will have to communicate each and every movement to the NCB as she would constantly be shuttling between MP and Delhi which is outside the territorial limits of Mumbai. Considering she was a resident of MP and Delhi, there would be no specific itinerary which can be communicated by Dhamecha to the IO, she submitted..In light of these, Dhamecha has sought the following reliefs:Modification of bail condition so that Dhamecha can attend NCB, Delhi office instead of Mumbai office on each Friday; and Relaxation of bail condition where Dhamecha is required to inform the IO and submit the itinerary.
