Bengaluru court accepts Lokayukta police clean chit to Siddaramaiah in bribery case

The complaint was lodged by BJP leader N Ramesh, who claimed that Siddaramaiah accepted a ₹1.3 crore bribe to appoint a person to a Bangalore Turf Club committee.

A special court in Bengaluru has accepted the closure report filed by the Karnataka Lokayukta Police that gave a clean chit to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was accused by a State BJP leader of having accepted a bribe of ₹1.3 crore for appointments to the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC).
