BJP functionary booked for tweets moves Madras High Court to get back her iPhone

Former news anchor and Tamil Nadu BJP state executive member Sowdha Mani was booked by the Cyber Crime Wing of the city police in July for her re-tweet on demolition of temples.

The Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the Central Crime Branch, Chennai to respond to a petition filed by BJP State executive committee member Sowdha Mani seeking directions to the authorities to return her iPhone 7 which was seized in July.
