Bombay HC hears Richa Chadha's defamation suit against Payal Ghosh, Kamaal R Khan, news channel [LIVE UPDATES]

The Bombay High Court is hearing a defamation suit filed by Bollywood actress Richa Chaddha against actor Payal Ghosh, internet personality Kamaal R Khan, and news channel ABN Andhrajyothy.

During the last hearing, the High Court was told that actress Payal Ghosh was willing to tender an apology and withdraw her remarks concerning Richa Chadha, which were made as part of sexual assault allegations against film director Anurag Kashyap.

The Court additionally granted a temporary injunction against all news channels and unknown persons, restraining them from sharing or adding any content under dispute in the court proceedings.
