Bombay High Court seeks response from Eknath Shinde government on plea challenging stay on appointments, schemes of Thackeray government

The Court asked the State to furnish reasons why the circulars relating to appointments and developmental projects of the earlier government involving the petitioners, was stayed by the new regime.

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday sought Maharashtra government's response on a plea assailing decision of Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government to stay or cancel appointment of certain retired government officials to the Maharashtra State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission.
