The High Court also directed the presence of Central government officers, Piyush Goyal and Sumita Dawra, on the next date of hearing.

The appeal against the same was mentioned before Chief Justice of India, NV Ramana by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

"With regard to Supreme Court order, State officials were asked to remain present in High Court for contempt proceedings," Mehta said.

"Let the matter be placed before Justice Chandrachud and listed at an appropriate time," Justice Ramana said.

The matter is slated to be taken up at 12.30 pm.
