

The Central government on Friday notified the appointment of 6 lawyers as additional judges of the Karnataka High Court.
Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal made the announcement via a post on X.
The advocates appointed as additional judges are
Raghavendra Seetharam Srivatsa;
Hema Kulkarni;
Subramanya Rangarao;
Vivekananda Thadagavadi Prakash;
Pramod Bakkeswara; and
Shanthi Bhushan Hombe Gowda
The appointment was made pursuant to a recommendation made by the Supreme Court Collegium on June 2.
The working strength of the Karnataka High Court will now rise to 54 judges as against its sanctioned 62 judges.
