[COVID-19] High Powered Committee will decide on return of on-parole prisoners: State informs Kerala High Court

The Court was hearing challenges to the State Government's order requiring certain categories of prisoners out on parole to return to jails in November.

The Kerala High Court today took on record the Kerala government's submission that a High Powered Committee had been constituted to decide whether prisoners released on parole amid the COVID-19 pandemic could be received back to the State's prisons.
