Criminal case cannot be quashed merely because complaint was filed by political rival: Supreme Court

A bench led by Justice Indira Banerjee refused to quash criminal proceedings initiated against a former legislator from Uttar Pradesh, booked for hurling casteist abuses against a political rival's employee.
