A Delhi Court on Sunday remanded Deep Sidhu to one-day judicial custody in Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)'s FIR registered over the damage caused to the Red Fort during the violence that took place on the January 26 tractor rally organised by protesting farmers. .Sidhu was produced before Duty Magistrate, Tihar by Delhi Police. .Delhi Police sought Sidhu's police remand for four days. The request was, however, turned down by the Duty Magistrate as it remanded Sidhu to one-day judicial custody in jail. .As per the Duty Magistrate's order, Sidhu would be produced before the Magistrate concerned tomorrow. .Sidhu was represented by Advocate Jasdeep Dhillon who opposed the grant of remand in the case. .He placed on record the order of bail in the first FIR in which Sidhu was arrested and argued that the ASI FIR and the First FIR pertained to the same incident. .Sidhu was arrested in the FIR on April 17, a day after he got bail in the FIR concerning the Red Fort violence. Sidhu was first arrested on February 9..As per Delhi Police, Sidhu is the main conspirator behind the violence at Red Fort.
