Delhi government agrees to extend medical insurance of advocates for a month

The medical insurance of nearly 29,000 advocates registered with the Bar Council of Delhi was set to expire on Friday. The Bar Council had moved the High Court seeking its extension.

The Delhi Government recently told the Delhi High Court that it will extend the medical insurance of nearly 29,000 advocates registered with the Bar Council of Delhi (Bar Council of Delhi v GNCTD).
