Delhi High Court has extended the life of all interim orders pending before all its benches and the subordinate courts in the national capital till August 13, 2021, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. (Court on its own motion v. Govt of NCT of Delhi)

A full bench comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi, Rekha Palli and Justice Talwant Singh on July 27 extended its interim order on the same.

It also directed GNCTD Standing Counsel Santosh Kumar Tripathi to inform it about the status of the proceedings before the Supreme Court – wherein the top court had directed that the prisoners, who have been released from jail on account of Covid-19, and are on bail, shall not be required to surrender.
