Delhi High Court directs RBI, Central government to ensure digital lending platforms comply strictly with regulations

The High Court ordered the Central government to take immediate steps in respect of the recommendations submitted by the RBI’s working group on digital lending.

The Delhi High Court recently directed the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Central government to ensure that the digital lending platforms comply strictly with the regulatory framework introduced by the RBI [Dharanidhar Karimojji v Union of India & Anr].
