"I would also like to thank all my brother and sister judges for making my tenure memorable and worthwhile. I will be carrying fond memories shared with each one of you. I must also thank each member of the bar without whose assistance, it would have been difficult to discharge and perform my duties as a Judge.. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every officer and member of the High Court staff, at each level, for their continuous support during my tenure as the Registrar General and also after my elevation."
Chief Justice of High Court, Justice DN Patel delivered the farewell speech on behalf of the High Court and said,
"She shall be in our hearts as a member of our family."
Justice Sehgal served as the Registrar General, High Court of Delhi from April 2013 to December 2014 and also worked as Registrar (Vigilance). She was elevated as an Additional Judge of the High Court on December 15, 2014, and became a Permanent Judge on June 2, 2016.
