Delhi High Court restrains use of ‘PhonePey Loan’ in PhonePe trademark infringement plea

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday restrained financial company AGF Finlease India from using ‘PhonePey Loan’ as the name of its digital lending agency, prima facie finding it deceptively similar to the trademark of Walmart-owned payments gateway PhonePe (PhonePe Pvt Limited & Anr v. AGF Finlease India Limited)
