Delhi High Court seeks response from Central government, CRPF on Arjuna awardee Akram Shah's plea for promotion

The Delhi High Court recently issued notice to the Central government and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on judoka and Arjuna awardee Akram Shah's plea seeking out-of-turn promotion to the rank of Deputy Commandant for having won bronze medal in 2014 Asian Games as head coach [Akram Shah vs. Union of India & Ors].
