Ensure e-cigarettes are not sold online; conduct regular checks near schools, colleges: Delhi High Court to authorities

The PIL filed by two lawyers said that local paan shops were selling e-cigarettes openly, despite the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act being in force.

The Delhi High Court on Monday directed the Central and Delhi governments as well as Delhi Police to ensure that online sale of e-cigarettes does not take place [Shiv Vinayak Gupta & Anr v. Union of India & Ors].
