Girl students move Kerala High Court over 'discriminatory' hostel curfew for girls at Mar Athanasius College

The plea alleged that the college authorities have prescribed a curfew at 6.30 PM for girl students residing at the college hostel, while the curfew in the boys' hostel is set at 9 PM.

A petition has been filed before the Kerala High Court by 33 girl students of Mar Athanasius College in Kothamangalam challenging the discriminatory curfew timings for girls residing at the college hostel for women. [Rachel Mathew & Ors. v State of Kerala & Ors.]
