During the course of the probe, NIA investigated the conspiracy to extend support to the banned terrorist organization Hizb-ul-Mujahideen by way of raising funds, supplying arms, harbouring militants etc.
NIA has now concluded that all six accused were part of a "deep-rooted" conspiracy to commit violent acts and to wage a war agaisnt the Union of India.
NIA has also claimed that the conspiracy was hatched by Hizb-ul Mujahideen and Pakistani State agencies and even certain officials from the Pakistan High Commission facilitated it.
It is asserted that Davinder Singh even arranged shelter for Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander, Syed Naveed Mushtaq and his associate in Jammu.
Last month, a Delhi Court had granted bail to DSP Davinder Singh in the case being investigated by Special Cell of Delhi Police after no charge sheet was filed within the stipulated time period.
