Plea before Delhi High Court alleges 53,000 Delhi Police officials drawing cycle maintenance allowance despite not using cycle
Petitioner Sanser Pal Singh contended that nearly 53,000 Police officials are drawing ₹180 per month for cycle maintenance but almost none of them use it for transportation.
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the Central and Delhi governments and the Commissioner of Delhi Police to respond to a plea alleging that more than 53,000 police officials are drawing cycle maintenance allowance ‘fraudulently’.
