Supreme Court dismisses pleas challenging abolition of Anti-Corruption Bureau in Karnataka
On August 11, the Karnataka High Court had abolished the ACB, while noting that it was established by the State government to shield corrupt politicians, ministers and officers from the Lokayukta.
