Supreme Court dismisses "meritless" plea challenging appointment of apex court lawyers as High Court judges

The petitioner argued that a person who has enrolled with a State Bar Council and subsequently shifted practice to the Supreme Court, is not eligible to be appointed as a High Court judge.
