Plea alleging theft of court pleadings by ex-Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, associates dismissed by Bombay High Court
The Nagpur Bench observed that merely because copies of the documents in the judicial proceedings were used for an intervention application did not imply any dishonest intention to procure the documents.
The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court recently dismissed a petition filed by a Nagpur lawyer seeking investigation into a complaint alleging that the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and his associates had obtained pleadings from the office of the government pleader in an unauthorised manner (Satish Uke v. State of Maharashtra & Ors.).
