The inaugural ceremony was held via video conferencing while maintaining social distancing norms, given the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
The Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Ajay Kumar Mittal on Saturday e-inaugurated several new District Courts and Court complexes, that was broadcasted live for others to view amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
The event also saw the presence of Justice Sanjay Yadav, Administrative Judge, and Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, and other Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The Registrar General, Member Secretary of the Legal Services Authority, Director of the State Judicial Academy and other Registry Officers of the High Court were also present for the ceremony.
Other Judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh and Officers of the Registry attended the ceremony virtually, by viewing the live webcast of the event.
This e-Inauguration ceremony was held while maintaining social distancing and other precautions as per guidelines issued amid pandemic.
The buildings that were inaugurated include 6 newly constructed court complexes, namely District Court Complex Dindori, District Court Complex Narsinghpur, Civil Court Complex Nagod District Satna, Civil Court Complex Chitrakoot District Satna, Civil Court Complex Chanderi District Ashoknagar and Civil Court Complex Nepanagar District Burhanpur.
Additionally, one Condominium Building, a residential complex for High Court Judges at Jabalpur and a Regional Training Centre for the Madhya PradeshJudicial Academy at Gwalior were inaugurated.
The Chief Justice has also inaugurated 13 other newly constructed buildings of District Legal Services Authorities, comprising of 1 ADR building at District Court Complex, Dindori and 12 newly constructed Mediation Centres at Tehsil Level of Districts.
