Madras High Court seeks State response to PIL against Udhayanidhi Stalin wearing casual clothes to official events
The Court also asked Advocate General PS Raman to clarify whether there are any Government Orders that prescribe certain dress code for politicians and public servants in the State.
The Madras High Court Tuesday issued notice to the Tamil Nadu government directing it to respond to a public interest litigation petition (PIL) seeking directions to Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidhi Stalin to adhere to a “formal dress code” while attending public events and discharging his official duties.
