Niloy Pyne Joins VFS Global Group as Group General Counsel

Niloy Pyne has joined the VFS Global Group in Dubai as it’s Group General Counsel effective May 1, 2017.

Prior to joining VFS, Pyne was working with US-based consulting firm Barret & Averro Consulting (earlier known as Haig Barret & Averro) as it’s sole India partner.

In a release, Niloy commented,

At VFS, Pyne will head the group’s legal department, covering businesses, functions and activities spread over 120 countries.

Pyne has more than 25 years experience focusing on company law, private equity, power & energy and commercial litigation. He has previously worked at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Amarchand Mangaldas, Paras Kuhad & Associates and Khaitan & Co.
