NLAT 2020: NLSIU releases time slots, all registered students to report 30 minutes prior to exam

All candidates will be informed of their respective batches at least 24 hours prior to the exam.

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has released the time slots of the three sessions in which National Law Aptitude Test, 2020 (NLAT) will be conducted for admissions to its undergraduate courses.

The exam is scheduled to held on Saturday, September 12. All registered aspirants are expected to report 30 minutes prior to the exam. For Batch 1, the reporting time will be 12:00 pm and the exam will begin at 12:30 pm. The reporting time for the second batch is 1:45 pm and the examination will begin by 2:15 pm. The reporting time for the final batch is 3:30 pm and the exam is scheduled to begin by 4:00 pm.

The slots along with the timings for NLAT was announced by NLSIU on its Instagram account. It was further been informed that an extra time of 15 minutes would be given to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates in accordance with the notification released on September 7.

Meanwhile, petitions have been filed before the Supreme Court and other High Courts challenging NLSIU's decision to hold a separate entrance exam instead of considering the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) scores for its admissions this year.

The Jharkhand High Court today reserved its order in a petition challenging NLSIU's move to conduct its separate examination, the NLAT.
