Rajasthan High Court directs NEET Authority to allot seat to Pakistani candidate

Justice Dinesh Mehta directed that after the allotment of college, the petitioner will be permitted to pursue his course, which shall be subject to the final outcome of the writ petition.

The Rajasthan High Court on Monday passed an interim order directing the National Testing Agency (NTA) to allot seat at an appropriate medical college to a Pakistani candidate in accordance with his position in merit list in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), thought he does not hold a long-term visa [Sandeep Kumar v. Union of India and Others].
