He was designated a Senior Advocate by the Madras High Court in 2016 and has practised extensively in commercial litigation, arbitration, constitutional and writ matters, consumer law and energy law.He is also a founding director of the Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre and has served on the Madras High Court's Heritage Committee and Arbitration Committee. Rajah was also part of an expert committee of the Law Commission of India that examined changes to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act..Apart from his legal practice, Rajah has a longstanding interest in the history and heritage of the Madras High Court.
