The Shardul Shroff-led firm has hired Mukul Baveja as a Partner in its Mumbai

office. He will be part of the firm’s Intellectual Property team headed by Dev Robinson.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Managing Partner Pallavi Shroff said, “We are very excited about this. We are strengthening our IP Practice and this is the right step in that direction.”

Mumbai Managing Partner Akshay Chudasama said, “It’s an important practice area and we have a super team in Delhi, so Mukul would clearly be an asset to supplement and build on the IPR work being done by the firm already”.

Prior to joining Shardul Amarchand, Mukul was working at Phoenix Legal as Counsel.

A graduate of Amity Law School, Mukul started his career with Pratibha Singh’s Singh & Singh Advocates, which has now merged with Lall & Sethi.

In 2007, he joined Fox Mandal as a Senior Associate finally making a switch to Phoenix Legal in 2012, where he was leading the firm’s contentious as well as non-contentious IP practice.
