Remarks against Islam, Prophet: Srinagar court orders arrest of Jitendra Tyagi for non-appearance
The Court passed the order after noting that despite multiple attempts, the presence of the accused could not be secured before the court.
A court in Srinagar on February 20 directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar to constitute a special team to arrest Jitendra Tyagi (formerly known as Waseem Rizvi) in connection with alleged derogatory remarks made by him against Islam and Prophet Muhammad (Danish Hassan Dar V/s Jitender Narayan Singh Tayagi @Waseem Rizvi)
