Supreme Court Collegium recommends 3 judicial officers for elevation to Chhattisgarh High Court

The High Court currently has a working strength of 13 judges as against a sanctioned strength of 22.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

The three names recommended for elevation after the Collegium's meeting on Tuesday, August 18 are:

(i) Santosh Sharma

(ii) Sushma Sawant

(iii) Sudhir Kumar

The High Court currently has a working strength of 13 judges as against a sanctioned strength of 22.
