Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of 2 judicial officers as Punjab and Haryana High Court judges

The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recommended the appointment of two judicial officers as judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

A statement published on the website of the top court stated that the Collegium, in a meeting held on December 16, had decided to recommend the names of judicial officers Ramesh Chander Dimri and Neerja Kulwant Kalson for elevation to the High Court.

The High Court is currently functioning with a strength of 59 judges against its sanctioned strength of 85.
