Supreme Court upholds maintainability of election petition by CPI(M)'s M Swaraj against Congress MLA K Babu
The election petition has been moved by CPI(M) leader M Swaraj challenging the election of Congress leader K Babu from the Thrippunithura constituency in the 2021 assembly elections.
The Supreme Court on Monday upheld the maintainability of the election petition moved by Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader M Swaraj against Congress MLA K Babu in relation to the latter's election to Kerala legislative assembly from the Thrippunithura constituency in 2021 [K Babu vs M Swaraj and ors].
