Supreme Court upholds validity of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 provisions on pecuniary jurisdiction

The Court upheld the provisions of the Act as per which the jurisdiction is to be determined based on the actual amount paid for the product or service and not on the basis of the compensation claimed.
