All work, including virtual hearing and filing, shall remain suspended at National Company Law Appellate Tribunal till October 6.

A Notice to this effect was published by the NCLAT yesterday after several cases of COVID-19 were detected among its staff.

..one staff member tested posted in Record Section tested positive on 30th September, 2020 which necessitated suspension of work on 1st October, 2020 to carry out the sanitization/disinfectant procedure of the NCLAT premises and subjecting the Hon'ble Members and staff to undergo RT-PCR Test.. four more staff members (out of which three are from Record Section) have tested positive for COVID 19 on 4th October 2020.

Although sanitization of the premises has been carried out, the Acting Chairperson has directed that all work be suspended till October 6.

The office shall also remain closed till October 6.
