What Punjab & Haryana High Court said in its first order on Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita

In one of the first orders passed under the newly-enacted Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), the Punjab and Haryana High Court has held that Section 531 of the BNSS provides that pending appeals filed before the BNSS came into force has to be adjudicated under the old law , i.e. Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) [Mandeep Singh vs Kulwinder Singh and another].
