Apsara Iyer, an Indian-American law student at Harvard University, has been elected as the 137th President of the prestigious Harvard Law Review (HLR) publication..Iyer has a BA in Economics from Yale University in 2016, an MPhil from the University of Oxford in 2018, and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate (JD) at Harvard Law School..Prior to being elected President to the prestigious 136-year-old publication, Iyer was an editor of HLR for about 7 months. She has also been working with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office in the Antiquities Trafficking Unit since over 4 years. .As per the Harvard press release, Iyer succeeds Priscila Coronado for the position.Commenting on Iyer's meritocracy and candidature, Coronado said, “Apsara has changed the lives of many editors for the better, and I know she will continue to do so.
