Call for Papers: 1st MNLU Mumbai International Labour Law Conference on new labour codes

Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai is inviting papers for the first edition of the MNLU Mumbai International Labour Law Conference with the theme 'New Labour Codes in India: Contemporary Issues, Implementation Challenges and Global Perspectives' scheduled to be organised on April 6, 2026.

Following the introduction of the new labour codes, the conference seeks to provide an academic platform for scholars, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, industry experts, and students to engage in dialogues on the Indian labour law framework.

The conference will cover themes such as wage regulation, industrial relations, social security, occupational safety, labour welfare, labour economics, and challenges in the future of work.

Abstract guidelines
Abstracts of 250–300 words along with author details and at least five keywords will be accepted through the registration form.

Selected papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in an edited book with ISBN and/or a Special Edition of the MNLU Mumbai Law Journal, subject to peer review.
