Over the last two years, we have built a network of Campus Ambassadors across more than fifty law schools all over India. These law students have been providing us with information on campus events and activities, and also sharing legal articles.
This series of interviews is meant to turn the spotlight on these hardworking and dedicated individuals.
In this edition, we speak with Ridhi Malhotra, a first year LLB student at Bharti Vidyapeeth University.
(Edited excerpts)
Why did you choose to study law?
I want to pursue my career in Law because I believe that Law forms the fundamentals of Life & liberty. A career in Law is intellectually challenging, financially rewarding and personally fulfilling. For me personal fulfillment is most important.
I choose Law because it helps me in improving my standard of thoughts, skills & knowledge. And it also provides me the courage & support on which I can stand for the rights of other's and my own.
What made you apply for the Campus Ambassador post at Bar & Bench?
To be a good law student, one requires all latest developments in Law which Bar & Bench is providing. Bar & Bench has been a great pioneer in bringing legal news to us. I have been following it since the beginning of law school. To get an opportunity to be associated with it is an accomplishment itself
What are your plans after completing law?
I haven’t decided on a specific path yet. I have diverse interests and I like to keep myself open to all kinds of work. It has been a great ride so far and every experience has taught me something.
I think I am going to explore other fields as well over the next two years and see what interests me the most.
