The Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Jindal Global Law School is organising its final lecture for this semester - CADR Guest Lecture Series – 2021, Ninth Lecture on: "ISDS and Taxation: Insights from Cairn Energy v India".
Speaker: Dr. Prabhash Ranjan
Dr. Prabhash Ranjan is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Legal Studies, South Asian University. Prabhash holds a PhD in law from King's College London. He has been a Visiting Scholar at Brookings India and a visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, Cambridge University. Prabhash works in the area of international investment law and world trade law. He has authored a book, 'India and Bilateral Investment Treaties: Refusal, Acceptance, Backlash' published by Oxford University Press in 2019.
