LNAT-UK for 5-year Law Admissions

The LNAT-UK is an internationally recognised test, widely used by the world’s top law schools like Oxford and Cambridge. It is the mandatory admission test for 5-year integrated Law programmes at JGLS. This test evaluates reading, comprehension, and critical thinking skills and assesses aptitude for legal studies rather than knowledge of specific legal subjects or rote memorisation.

Candidates who have not yet appeared for the LNAT-UK exam to date may do so by registering and taking the test on or before July 31, 2025. Applicants can attempt the LNAT-UK only ONCE during an admission cycle. To take the exam, candidates must possess either a valid passport or a recent government-issued PVC Aadhaar card with a ghost image and hologram.

Important information

Test format: The LNAT-UK comprises a multiple-choice section and an essay component, designed to assess critical thinking, comprehension, and analytical skills.

Please note: JGLS does not consider the essay component for admission to the 5-year integrated law programme. You must take 42 MCQs only in 95 minutes.

Results of LNAT: The University receives your LNAT score within 24-48 hours of taking the test and issues an admission offer if you qualify for the cutoff.

What to do if I don’t have the required ID: Please don’t schedule your LNAT Test. Apply for the valid ID needed to take the LNAT Test. Please get a new Passport or a PVC Aadhar Card. Please note that any other version of the Aadhar Card is not accepted.
