DNLU clinches victory at Nuremberg Moot 2025

The team from NALSAR, Hyderabad won the Best Memorandum - Defence Award.

The team from Dharmashashtra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur has won the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2025 held at the Nuremberg Palace of Justice.

The team comprised Rashmi Mishra, Vagisha Mandloi, Ayush Mishra and Anushka Gupta (Team Coach).

The team from NALSAR, Hyderabad won the Best Memorandum - Defence Award. Another Indian team at the competition was Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

This year's moot problem revolved around allegations of direct and public incitement to commit genocide targeting a religious minority. The issues examined by the Pre-Trial Chamber of the ICC were in absentia proceedings, ne bis in idem (doubly jeopardy) admissibility, individual criminal responsibility for incitement to genocide.

The Nuremberg Moot Court witnessed participation from 139 students from 35 Universities across 28 countries.
