RPNLU Prayagraj Vice-Chancellor Prof Usha Tandon gets APJ Abdul Kalam Jurist Excellence Award

The APJ Abdul Kalam Jurist Excellence Award is awarded to jurists, legal scholars and academicians.

Vice-Chancellor of Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University (RPNLU), Prayagraj, Prof (Dr) Usha Tandon has been conferred the APJ Abdul Kalam Jurist Excellence Award.

The accolade has been awarded to recognise her contributions to legal academia, research in the fields of environmental law, gender justice and her commitment to advancing legal education in India.

The event was organised by the Kerala Law Academy (KLA) and the Global Research Conference Forum (GRCF) as part of the KLA-GCRF International Conference Series.

While receiving the award, Prof Tandon said,

"I am humbled to receive this award with a renewed sense of commitment and responsibility. It encourages me to continue my efforts in mentoring the next generation of legal minds and contributing towards legal scholarship."

The felicitation ceremony was held in Trivandrum, Kerala.

The APJ Abdul Kalam Jurist Excellence Award is awarded to jurists, legal scholars and academicians who have shaped the legal landscape through scholarly endeavours and thought leadership.
